Kids love our FOO Crew backpacks that are filled with age appropriate books and other learning items. For each one purchased, we donate a backpack! Books are essential for young learners and help with building confidence in other areas of life, introduce students to a world of imagination, provide knowledge, help with reading, writing, and speaking skills. Books can help to connect us to other cultures and help us better understand those near and far. They function as survival kits, they influence us and can leave a lasting impact on us. Many of the students who receive a gifted backpack have never owned their own books- it is magical to see that items given to them make a huge impact and difference in their future!
